Local Loans for Local Foods (LL4LF) is a Slow Money peer-to-peer lending network. Our purpose is to connect people who have capital available to lend, with local food enterprises that have need for lowinterest loans. We embrace the importance of keeping our dollars local and supporting the production and distribution of local, healthy food in the process.

LL4LF does not make loans. We work to get potential lenders and potential borrowers in the room together, where they can meet, hear each other and (hopefully) begin a longerterm relationship. Financial arrangements are made directly between the individual lender and the individual borrower.

You can find out more about our gatherings on our events page. We are thankful to the Peterloon Foundation for donating the space for these events.

If you are interested in finding resources for lenders and borrowers, please see our resource library.
